Cooper is a PhD candidate in cognitive and behavioral neuroscience. He graduated from Andrews University with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. He is primarily interested in traumatic brain injury in military populations, and how unique aspects of newer theaters of combat have downstream effects on neural structure and function, as well as on psychological and physiological well-being. He has experience in structural, functional, and diffusion MRI analysis.
